The first installment in the Electronic Music series, released in 1969 by Turnabout, a label launched in 1965 as the classical/contemporary line of Vox Productions Inc. It features works by Spanish composer Andrés Lewin-Richter, known for his electroacoustic pieces; Turkish electronic music composer İlhan Mimaroğlu; German-born Israeli composer Tzvi Avni; and American electronic music artist Walter Carlos, famed for Switched-On Bach. From voice collages to pure electronic-wave textures, the entire album is remarkable. The sound quality is excellent as well.
