This album, released in 1978 as the third installment of Kkua Records' 'Home Grown' series, compiles works by artists active in Hawaii during the 1970s. It features organic tracks imbued with a consistently refreshing atmosphere, ranging from soft rock with acoustic guitar and beautiful choruses to elegant hula. This album is considered the most fitting for the present among the series. Highlights include the gem of a mellow tune "A6" by Marvin Franklin with Kimo and the Guys, characterized by groovy percussion rhythms, bass lines, wet guitar, and mature vocals that gently dance together. Additionally, "B3" by Miles Lee and the Hawaiian Electric Band stands out with its mellow AOR tune featuring mild guitar, melancholic electric piano melodies, and breezy synth pads that exude a sense of freshness.
