This compilation album was released in 1970 and contains all the hits from Le Bateau, a nightclub that actually existed in Brazil in the early 1970s. Ademir Lemos, the club's resident and a legendary Brazilian DJ, was in charge of the music selection. The songs are from a wide range of genres, from soul and funk to rock and '60s, including famous names such as Kool & The Gang, Charlie Hodges and Fragile Rock Valley. The most notable tracks are George Tindley's B2 from 1970 and B6, which opened Kool & The Gang's 1970 album of the same title. (Chee)
