This is a compilation album released in 1984 by Ralph Records, the label run by the members of The Residents, an avant-wave group from San Francisco on the west coast of the USA. A1 is an avant-funk track by Snakefinger, similar to EP-4. B3 is a stripped-down track by Renaldo & The Loaf, which sounds like a fast-moving version of Vietnamese folk music. The album also features 11 tracks from a wide range of consistently avant-garde artists including MX-80 Sound, Fred Frith and Tuxedemoon.

A1: Snakefinger “Eva’s Warning”
B3: Renaldo & The Loaf “Melvyn’s Repose”
B5: Renaldo & The Loaf “Nelda Danced at Daybreak”
