An album released in 1973 compiling songs by Brazilian samba singers from the 1970s. It features works by Maria Aparecida Martins—a female singer-songwriter named after a city in central Goiás who left behind numerous classic recordings—as well as Luiz Wanderley, an active vocalist from the 1950s and 60s, alongside tracks by several largely unknown artists. Highlights include Chico Bondade’s A1, bursting with streetwise vocals, choral energy, and wild percussive rhythms, and A3, where Aparecida’s primal vocals intertwine beautifully with a laid-back samba groove. This compilation offers an authentic glimpse into samba deeply rooted in everyday Brazilian life.

A1: Chico Bondade “Água Boa É Do Meu Poço”
A3: Aparecida “Boa Noite”
