Released in 1981 from the Explorer series, the ethnic music division of the excellent American label Nonesuch, this is an album of local music by a tribe from the savanna region of Africa. The music of the tribes living in Autovolta, which is now called Burkina Faso. A1 is an out-of-key melody with a warm and warm tone of xylophone that builds up in tension with the time axis, A2 is an ensemble of xylophone with a unique groove rhythm. A3 is a great example of the undulating groove of an instrument that sounds like a berimbau, which is made by attaching strings to a tree branch that is shaped like a bow. Highly recommended.
