This is one of Vangelis' early solo work, recorded in 1973 after the breakup of Aphrodite's Child. There are still no signs of the delicate synthesizer music of later years, and we can hear tribal psychedelic rock with a lot of melodies and rhythms from traditional Greek music. Mysterious melodies and primitive sounds are the coolest thing in the world. B2, with its impressive soulful female vocals, has been attracting attention as a Balearic track, but this album is a total concept album that can only be appreciated by listening to the whole album, so please take your time and listen to it.
