This is a three-song 12" single released in 1985 by Virginia Astley, a British female singer born into a musical family whose father is Edwin Astley, a composer, and whose brother is Jon Astley, an engineer who has worked on many masterpieces. The soft and gentle melody of strings, flute, music box and synthesizer is layered with serene vocals and chorus like a hymn featuring Anne Stephenson, Audrey Riley and Jocelyn Pook. It's a very beautiful new age pop song with layered vocals and choruses. It's perfect for the Christmas season, and try the 33 rpm screw.
