Leader album released in 1979 by American vibraphonist Walt Dickerson, who has been a standard-bearer in the post-bop scene since the early 60s and since the late 70s has released classic records on the Danish Staple Chase label, including with Sun Ra. Quartet with Albert Dailey (p), Andy McKee (b) and Jimmi Johnsun (dr). All of the tracks on this album are wonderful gems: A1 with its sexy, lustrous tone and softly floating vibe, A2 with its fast, galloping interplay, and B1, a 24-minute long spiritual jazz piece that develops dramatically. Dailey's piano is also superb. The sound quality is also excellent. Highly recommended.
