Born in Paris, France to Algerian and Lebanese parents, Warda have long been at the forefront of the Arab music scene. Produced by Youssef Maurice Iskandar, son of Maurice Iskandar and a great contributor to Arab music since the 80's, the album features Warda singing with her unique voice, which is a mixture of luster and withering, against the backdrop of very modern arrangements of traditional Arab songs and songs that express the format of traditional music in the field of pop music. It's a masterpiece that rivals Fairuz's masterpiece "Wahdon" from the same year. The song with children is also great. Original Egyptian pressing.
