Born in Paris, France to Algerian and Lebanese parents, Warda have been at the forefront of Arab singing for a long time. This album was released in 1975. Warda was 35 years old at the time, and she sang beautifully against the backdrop of the wonderful music and performance by Baligh Hamdi and Mohamed Hamza. This is one of the best albums to experience her live performance when she was at the peak of her powers as a singer. The performance is also very groovy and great. Highly recommended.
