This album was released in 1980 by Wiener Art Orchester, an experimental big band formed in 1977 by composer Mathias Ruegg from Zurich, Switzerland, and active until 2010. This album joined with Werner Pirchner, Wolfgang Puschnig, Herbert Joos, Harry Pepl, and many other jazz musicians who have produced excellent works in their own activities. The title track, A1, has an ethnic sentiment and contemporary elements, and develops joyfully with a street performance-like lightness. B1 is taken over by the unpredictable voice improvisation of Lauren Newton, an American female vocalist who has also performed with Masahiko Togashi, and B2, The Mystic Flugelhorn by Herbert Joos.

B1: The World of BeBand &BigBop
B2: Panta Rhei
