Yoshi Wada is a Japanese artist who moved to New York City in the late 60s and joined the Flexus Group, an avant-garde art movement of artists, poets, musicians, and designers from other fields, studying under La Monte Young, Pandit Pran Nath, James McIntosh, and others. This free improvisation work features his own custom bagpipes and overtone singing voice performance. The fact that it was released at the time on the jazz label India Navigation is surprising, but there were some amazing people.
