Yuji Takahashi, a contemporary musician/composer/pianist who studied music theory under Iannis Xenakis and is active internationally alongside Toshi Ichiyanagi and Toru Takemitsu, released this album in 1975, featuring works by Claude Debussy, a French composer who lived from the late 19th to early 20th century. Debussy is widely known as an impressionistic composer who broke new ground in 20th century music. The commentary by Yuji Takahashi himself on the insert is also a must-read. Highly recommended.
