Contemporary musician/composer/pianist Yuji Takahashi, who studied music theory under Iannis Xenakis and is active worldwide alongside Toshi Ichiyanagi and Toru Takemitsu, released this album in 1985, featuring the works of Erik Satie, a French composer active from the late 1800s to the early 1900s and known for his "furniture music," which inspired Brian Eno to propose ambient music.
