This is a masterpiece of collaboration released in 1974 by Yuji Takahashi, a contemporary musician/composer/pianist who studied music theory under Iannis Xenakis and is active worldwide along with Toshi Ichiyanagi and Toru Takemitsu, and Masahiko Sato, a leading Japanese jazz pianist who has been active at the forefront since his debut with the leader album "Palladium" in 1969. All three tracks are improvisations by Yuji Takahashi and Masahiko Sato, with side A featuring an acoustic piano improvisation lasting 18 minutes and 49 seconds, and side B featuring an acoustic piano and an electric piano improvisation connected to and modulated by a prepared piano and an EMS Synth-A synthesizer. The ultimate in free music. This is the original pressing in 1974.
