This is a 1986 album by Brazilian singer-songwriter Zé Ramalho, best known for Paebiru, one of the greatest works of Brazilian psychedelic rock, released in 1975 in collaboration with Lula Cortes. In addition to renowned musicians such as Lincoln Olivetti, Mauro Motta, Leo Gandelman, and Geraldo Azevedo, the album also features a track with Uruguayan música popular maestro Hugo Fattoruso. The songwriting credits even include Caetano Veloso. Ramalho’s distinctive raspy voice is present here as ever, but what truly stands out is the superb backing performance, making full use of both live instruments and synthesizers.
