This is the second album of live recordings from the "Orchestral Space" concert held at the Nissei Theatre in Tokyo in 1966, organized by Toru Takemitsu and Toshi Ichiyanagi, conducted by Seiji Ozawa and Hiroshi Wakasugi, and performed by the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. It features compositions by Gyorgy Ligeti, Iannis Xenakis, John Cage, Roger Reynolds, Motohiko Adachi, who have led the contemporary music scene since the 1950s. All of these compositions use a lot of tonal clusters to create a strong contrast between tranquility and chaos. Among them, the song "The Wonderful Widow of 18 Springs" by John Cage is very unique. And "Orchestral Space '68" by Steve Reich and more is also a masterpiece. Please check it out that album too, if you are interested in it.

A1: Gyorgy Ligeti “Atmospheres”
A2: Iannis Xenakis “Strategie”
A3: John Cage “The Wonderful Widow of 18 Springs”
