The 1986 debut album by 0.720 Aleación, a Mexican progressive rock/chamber rock band. Featuring an instrumental ensemble that includes acoustic guitar, violin, ocarina, and traditional Mexican folk instruments, the album showcases an organic, folkloric sound enriched by unique echo effects. It beautifully conveys the distinctive lyricism and melancholy often found in the works of Latin American artists, reminiscent of Gerardo Batiz's creations. While classified as progressive rock, the album evokes a sensibility that aligns closely with the ethnic, New Age-inspired contemporary jazz of Europe, particularly Germany. Highly recommended. This is an exceptionally rare original first pressing, self-released by the group. The stamper is identical to the distributed version.
