A masterpiece released in 1969 by German jazz trombonist Albert Mangelsdorff. The album features a stellar lineup of artists, including Don Cherry, Elvin Jones, Karl Berger, Attila Zoller, Lee Konitz, and Wolfgang Dauner, engaging in duo sessions with Albert Mangelsdorff. The collaborative A1 track, a work by Don Cherry, Mangelsdorff, and Terry Riley recorded in Baden-Baden, showcases an incredible interplay that feels like a conversation, with Don Cherry's chanting adding to its brilliance. The interaction with Attila Zoller's guitar play in B1 is outstanding, and the tension-filled session with pianist Wolfgang Dauner in B3 is a must-listen. This is a rare Japanese pressing in 1970, it comes with an obi strip.

A1: I Dig It - You Dig It
