This album was released in 1979 by Bernie Krause, an electronic musician and field recording artist who has created many masterpieces with Paul Beaver. This concept album is based on L. Sprague de Camp's novel Citadels of Mystery. The album showcases beautiful ethnic jazz with space and depth, incorporating elements of ethnic music from Peru, Brazil, Haiti, Zimbabwe, and other countries in each song. The sound quality is so great that you can imagine the scenery when you meditate on it. This is a half-speed master recording by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab.
