This is a masterpiece album released in 1975 on the Obscure label founded by Brian Eno, a British musician who began his career as a member of the British rock band Roxy Music. Side A is a long piece recorded in his own studio, using a digital recall system to send the synthesizer, processed by a graphic equolizer and Echo unit, to an open reel recorder, and then back to an open reel recorder to record the delay generated by running it through a second reorder. This is a truly discrete device. Side B is a three-part suite featuring The Cockpit Ensemble, conducted by Gavin Bryars. All are excellent in their experimental style, a prelude to the "Ambient" series, which was inspired by Erik Satie's piece "Furniture Music" and defines music as a single environment in urban life. This is the 2nd press UK edition with red label.
