This album was featured in the guidebook OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION. A hidden gem of Brazilian new age fusion, it was released in 1988 by the duo of multi-instrumentalist Claudio Dauelsberg and keyboardist Delia Fischer. Track A1 paints an endlessly beautiful sonic landscape with a modulated synthesizer solo mimicking the sound of a shakuhachi and the wet textures of digital synthesizers. Track A2 features a programmed, refreshing machine rhythm, soaring synth bass, and the rhythmic interplay of digital piano and digital synths, creating a richly melodic atmosphere. The album shines with crystal-clear sound production that fully embraces Brazil’s distinctive melodic sensibility—reminiscent of artists like Egberto Gismonti, Cesar Camargo Mariano, and the Minas school—while also showcasing the cutting-edge capabilities of digital synthesizers of the time. A message from Chick Corea is printed on the back cover.
