This is a 1981 leader album by British saxophone player Clive Stevens. Many may recognize his name due to the single "Mysteryman," which was released in 1983 and has since regained attention among cosmic and Balearic music enthusiasts. In this album, Stevens delivers jazz-funk that expands on that style, infusing it with a cooler, more urban vibe and showcasing an excellent sense of arrangement. The laid-back grooves on tracks like A1 and B1 are especially stylish, and the 45rpm pressing gives it impressive sound quality.
