This was introduced in the first edition of the guidebook "Obscure Sound". Jazz composer/multi-player David Amram has been active since the 50's, and his performance "The Historic US-Cuban Musical Exchange of 1977" is a tribute to the history of Afro-Cuban jazz. Alfredo de la Fe, Candido, Thad Jones, Pepper Adams, Paquito de Rivera, etc., the members are amazing and the performances are amazing. A1, dedicated to Dizzy Gillespie; A2, dedicated to the Latin percussion group Los Papines; A3, recorded live on the streets of Manhattan; and B1, recorded live in Havana.
