Italian jazz guitarist Eddy Palermo, who has been active since the early 1980s and released a session album with Brazilian bossa nova icon Roberto Menescal in 2003, released his first leader album in 1983. In addition to drummer Roberto Gatto, the album features Roberto Moriconi (b), Danilo Rea (p), and Antonio Vannucchi (p), and features all of Eddy Palermo's own compositions except for one song by Antonio Carlos Jobim. The album features a light Brazilian fusion (A1), a funk fusion (A2) with slap bass and smooth guitar solo, and a soft bossa jazz tune (A3). B1, with its gentle groove and mellow breezy texture reminiscent of Pat Metheny Group, is highly recommended. (Chee)

A3: Wind Samba
B1: Winter Sun
