Eric Kloss, a precocious saxophonist who began his professional career at the age of 12 and made his record debut at the age of 16 with the album "Introducing Eric Kloss" with the support of Don Patterson, released this album in 1972. This is a reissue released on Muse in 1983, featuring a quartet with Neal Creque (keys), Gene Taylor (b), and Ron Krasinski (ds). The quartet performed soul jazz and modal jazz with a groovy rhythm section and mild sound of electric piano, and Kloss' saxophone layered with adult and moody melodies. Kloss was only 23 years old at this time. B2 was the last track I played at the NTS Show in March.
