Gardonyi & Namyslowski
Reggae for Zbiggy
Krem (Hungary) 1984
SLPX 17841 (LP)
sleeve : EX(wear on edge and corner.)
media : EX-/EX-(some light surface noises caused by slightly wear and hairlines.)

Album released in 1984 by Hungarian-American pianist Laszlo Gardonyi and Polish alto saxophonist Zbigniew Namyslowski. On the Hungarian label Krem, featuring Bela Lattman (b) and Geza Lakatos (dr). The title might suggest reggae, but the music is not reggae as such, but rather incorporates its roots in calypso and old ska rhythms. The adult-tinged A3 and B2 are noteworthy, and Namyslowski's saxophone is supremely moody.

A3: Narancsvaros
B2: Ballada
