Released in 1974, this album is the third in a "Chapter" series of albums by Argentinean tenor saxophonist Gato Barbieri, who made his debut in the 1960s and went on to record a number of progressive Latin jazz works in the 1970s. The album features many talented musicians including Ron Carter, Randy Brecker, Howard Johnson, and Ray Mantilla, as well as the orchestra conducted by Chico O'Farrill. This is a great album of spiritual Latin jazz on a grand scale.
