A superb album released in 1982 by Japan's world-renowned multi-performance community, the Geino Yamashiro Gumi. The group, led by its leader Shoji Yamashiro, has been active since the 1960s as an experimental group whose design is to seek out and verify the original lifestyle of mankind as promised in our DNA, as a base for criticism of civilisation. This album is a spiritual choral expression of traditional folklore music from Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Tibet, India, Asia and Japan, with a theme of the Silk Road, known as a historical trade route of cultural transmission from the Mediterranean countries to Japan, and is more psychedelic than their other works.
