This album was released in 1983 by Bokalo Gringo and Pires Likombe, who were both members of Les Tontons, and features Rigo Star, Du Soleil, Domingo Salsero and other musicians who emigrated to France from the former Zaire/Congo and other parts of Central Africa. Rigo Star, Du Soleil, and Domingo Salsero, who emigrated to France from the former Zaire/Congo and other Central African countries. Guadeloupean keyboardist Anick Noel, who also played on Luc-Hubert Sejor's 1979 masterpiece "Muzik Filamonk - Spiritual Sound," draws attention to the cheap but tasteful synthesizers he uses to accompany the lively zouk/sukou rhythms. Highly recommended.
