This is an album released in 1981 by composer/pianist Haruna Miyake, who has left behind outstanding works with a unique perspective on contemporary music, including the famous duo work "Ichimen Nanohana" with Yuji Takahashi, which was featured in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION". It is a collection of variations for piano instruction, arranged from Japanese children's and folk songs such as "Oshogatsu," "Usagi," "Kagome," "Hato," and "Akatombo," all arranged in no octave so that children with small hands can play them. The children's songs, which are well-known to all Japanese, are changed to minor keys and harmony is added, making the collection very enjoyable to listen to. Recommended.
