This is an album released in 1983, featuring the collaboration of lead player Hector Binger, originally from Montevideo, Uruguay, and Don Menza, an American saxophonist who had been active in Europe. The album also includes the talents of skilled Swedish musicians like Janne Schaffer (guitar), Kjell Ohman (electric piano), and Teddy Walter (bass), along with Jose Luis Perez, a Uruguayan drummer and percussionist who was briefly a member of Arco Iris. This lesser-known gem showcases a breezy crossover jazz that is painted with colorful sounds throughout the entire album. It ranges from uplifting Latin fusion to Afro-jazz, jazz-rock with Schaffer's electric guitar bursting forth, and moody Latin jazz. Highly recommended for its diverse and captivating soundscapes.
