Jazz album released in 1971 by shakuhachi player Hozan Yamamoto, who made great achievements not only in the classical arts but also in contemporary activities. The quartet, consisting of two Japanese jazzmen, Masabumi Kikuchi (piano) and Hiroshi Murakami (ds), and Gary Peacock (b), performs a suite of six compositions. The recording was made in 1970, and although it is barely in the style of modern jazz, it is already a new type of jazz based on free thinking, like contemporary jazz of the 70s and 80s. The music is a snow-covered karesansui (dry landscape). This is a reissue in 1979.
