Shortly after graduating from high school, American keyboard player Joey Navarro signed a major deal with Antilles New Directions, a subsidiary of Island Records, and made his debut. Since then, he has remained active to this day as a support member for many artists, including Tom Scott and Sister Sledge. This 1988 release finds Navarro delivering a breezy late-'80s crossover/fusion sound in line with artists such as Masayoshi Takanaka and Casiopea. Among the highlights, B4 stands out in particular—an electronic new age piece that opens with synthesized sounds of waves and seagull cries.
