A rare gem has just arrived. This album was released in 1986 by Karaikudi R. Mani, one of the leading mridangam players in Karnataka music, the classical music of South India. The bouncy beats of the mridangam with a strong attack are the core of the music, and percussion instruments such as kanjeera, ghatam, tabla, and orchestral instruments such as flute and violin are introduced. You can enjoy the essence of traditional South Indian Carnatic instrumental music in its entirety, which has attracted many musicians such as Okay Temiz's Oriental Wind and Krautrock bands Embryo and Charlie Mariano.

A2: Music - Bahudari Raga
B1: Tala - Misra Chapu
