This album was released in 1975 by Lenny White, a superbly skilled American jazz drummer who played an important role in the US crossover/fusion scene with the Joe Henderson Quintet and The Stanley Clarke Trio. On this album, Lenny White played with Jimmy Smith, Weldon Irvine, David Sancious, Patrick Gleeson, Al DiMeola and many other great players, playing everything from groovy jazz funk to fast-paced progressive jazz rock. This is a masterpiece that rivals the likes of Weather Report, The Headhunters and Return To Forever in terms of sheer quality of performance.
