Jet Samba
Japan Air Lines (Japan) 198x
LRS-885 (LP)  Obi, insert
sleeve : NM media : EX+/EX+

This is a novelty record, not for sale, produced to commemorate the inauguration of Japan Airlines' flights to Brazil. The year of production is unknown, but since Samba Fusion Flight No.064 and its re-arranged version Summer Fusion were released in 1985 and 1986, respectively, it is assumed to be from before then. In addition to Pe' De Boi and David John Pratt (ex-Kalapana), Walter Wandaley, Guilherme De S. Franco, Hiroshi Tamaki, and a young Lisa Ono, all of whom were featured on the two aforementioned albums, the album features a variety of musicians. The album features a wide range of music, from light-hearted arrangements of famous Brazilian songs to Jet Stream-like easy listening arrangements featuring orchestra, and original songs by D.J. Pratt. D.J. Pratt's guitar is barking psychedelically on this album. Good condition. (Chee)
