The 1983 second album by Sacbe, a Mexican jazz group centered around the three Toussaint brothers—Fernando Toussaint (drums, percussion), Eugenio Toussaint (piano, synth), and Enrique Toussaint (bass)—who also participated in Gerardo Batiz’s group. Featuring Clare Fischer on Rhodes, this release comes six years after their 1977 debut masterpiece, a superb crossover jazz record rivaling works by Argentina's Viejas Raices and Spain's Jordi Sabates.
The album delivers breezy, mellow fusion reminiscent of Azymuth, including highlights like the refreshing Latin rhythm paired with Clare Fischer's ultra-mellow Fender Rhodes on track A1 and the mysterious bass solo and Prophet 5 sound effects that evolve from a spacey intro into an urban Latin crossover on track B3. A highly recommended.

A1: Mijo (Mee-hoh)
B3: Aztlan
