This is the second album released in 1988 by composer/guitarist Stephen Caudel, who made four albums between 1986 and 1996. The album is basically new age guitar music with an emotional and pastoral atmosphere using delicate electric acoustic guitars, but it is also co-produced by Tom Newman, who is known as Mike Oldfield's producer and engineer, and who himself left a famous album "Fine Old TOm" in 1975. Tom Newman, known as Mike Oldfield's producer and engineer, who also produced the famous 1975 album "Fine Old TOm", co-produced the album, so A2 has a progressive sound reminiscent of Mike Oldfield with a lot of synthesizers.
