This is a live recording album of the performance by Sutomu Yamash’ta, a Japanese percussionist who gained fame in the field of classical and contemporary music in the late 1960s. The performance took place at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan in 1971. This reissue was released in 1980 as part of the "Contemporary Japanese Music 1500" series. It features the participation of Japanese musicians Roetsu Tohsha and Suiho Tohsa. Side A highlights a composition by H. Tircut, a well-known critic, written in 1962 for a chamber orchestra and percussion ensemble. Side B includes a three-movement composition composed secretly in Japan by Rainer during his visit in 1970, where he stayed at the home of Toshiro Mayuzumi while preparing to perform with Yoshinori Fujita and Suiko Fujita. Both sides present emotionally rich musical worlds featuring the performance of traditional Japanese instruments such as drums and transverse flutes, making it truly exceptional.
