V.A. “Love - an Invitation to Windham Hill”

This label compilation album was selected from the titles of the American new age label Windham Hill, and was released in 1985 as an original Japanese project. The album features songs by the label's representative artists such as label owner William Ackerman, George Winston, Liz Story, Alex de Grassi, and Scott Cossu. This is an excellent collection of music to be appreciated from the current ambient/new age perspective, including Michael Hedges' "Aerial Boundaries" and the masterpieces from Mark Isham's "Vapor Drawings".
