This was introduced in the 1st and 2nd editions of the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND". A masterpiece album released in 1978 by Haruomi Hosono, the undisputed gold standard of electronic psychedelics in Japan. This is a work of imaginary travelogue of India, based on his mysterious experience in India, where he visited with guru Tadanori Yokoo and others. The super trippy synth work by Hideki Matsutake, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Hiroshi Sato that embodies this image is just superb. Hosono said in an interview, "I made this album to test what synthesizers are like," but I can't believe he made such a great album just for testing. In a sense, this is the first reissue in 1985.
