This is the debut album released in 1982 by Liz Story, an American female pianist hailing from San Diego, California, who has had a Grammy-nominated career. The album was released by the prestigious New Age label Windham Hill, led by William Ackerman, who also produced the album. Liz Story composed all the tracks herself, except for B5, which is a composition by Bill Evans. The entire album consists of solo acoustic piano performances. The delicate melodies, such as the ones that sway through the sonic landscape like waves in A1 and the subtle arpeggios that cascade like the wind in A5, envelop the listener in endlessly beautiful melodies. The sound quality, mastered at half-speed, is also exceptional.

A1: Wedding Rain
A5: Things with Wings
