An album released in 1989 by Quiet Force, the solo project of German synthesist Steven Toeteberg. Issued on Innovative Communication, by this point moving away from the direct influence of label founder Klaus Schulze and toward a more new age electronics-oriented direction. Blending crossover, fusion, and AOR touches, the album offers adult-oriented electronic music of remarkable charm, where clear, fresh electronic textures evoking a deep blue sea meet a breezy mellow-pop sensibility. Highlights include the superb A2, with its smooth, floating sound recalling Pat Metheny, and the beautiful B2, where a bass melody in the spirit of Mark Egan contrasts elegantly with the ethnic resonance of wind synth.
A2: Dark Moments
A4: High Noon
B2: Pieces of Time
