This was featured in the guidebook OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION. A masterpiece album released in 1981 by the brilliant American trumpeter/composer Jon Hassell, who has left behind many works in which he has created a bizarre fantasy world with his unique playing technique, featuring Brian Eno and Michael Brook. The album is a contemporary ambient album that seems to straddle the line between jazz, experimental music and ambient, with Jon Hassell's characteristic effect-soaked, wispy trumpet tone floating in the space with an exotic appearance, along with indescribable, unique sound effects like sampled bubbles and water sounds, and various percussion sounds. It is a one-of-a-kind world that could be called contemporary ambient jazz. Original US vinyl with STERLING stamp.
