Electronic Music
Philips (Japan) 196x
SFL-7923 (LP) texture sleeve.
sleeve : EX-(light color-faded.)
media : EX-/EX-(some light surface noises.)

A collection of electronic music masterpieces released on the Philips Contemporary Music series. As with the Electronic Music series launched in 1965 by the American Turnabout label, the collection includes Luciano Berio's Visage, Ilhan Mimaroglu's Agony and John Cage's Fontana Mix. On side A, Berio's 21-minute 'Visage' is a magnetic tape collage based on Cathy Berberian's voice and electronic sounds. B2, "Fontana Mix" by John Cage, is an electronic concoction made entirely from magnetic tape. Both are historic pieces of experimental electronic music from the 1960s. This is also a great mix tool for freestyle DJs. This is the first Japanese edition with a textured sleeve, probably released in the mid to late 60s.
