Released in 1982, this is the third album by Stomu Yamashta, a Japanese percussionist who has been active in the fields of classical and contemporary music since the late 1960s and is known for his live rock performances and collaborations with Steve Winwood, Klaus Schulze, Michael Shrieve, and others. This is the third album in the New Age Electronics series that began with 1982's "Iroha. Like the previous album, it features synthesizers extensively along with Takashi Kokubo and Sen Izumi, and is a grand conceptual music that expresses the world of Buddhism. It is a deeply meditative world, as if underground magma is boiling or the earth is vibrating.
