This album was released in 1975 and features compositions by Walter Steffens and Heiner Stadler, two not well-known German composers. A1 is a violin solo by Hans Juergergen Froetel, A2 is a guitar solo by Bernard Hebb, and A3 is a string ensemble by The Panorma Quartet. The highlight of the album is the B-side, which features music by Heiner Stadler. The bassist is Reggie Workman, an American jazz bassist who has made a name for himself on numerous sessions with Mal Waldron and Thad Jones, and the vocals are by Dee Dee Bridgewater, who is from a different genre, and the composition is very avant-garde, but the groove is amazingly performed by jazz musicians. Highly recommended.
