This 1977 original soundtrack album for David Hamilton's "Bilitis" features music by French master Francis Lai, the composer of numerous soundtrack masterpieces including "A Man and Woman. Lai's music is mainly elegant and beautiful with orchestral and acoustic piano, but there is also a mid-tempo boogie disco tune, A, which has a warm, rounded bass and percussion rhythm section matched with organ and string orchestra, and a beautiful, melodic, and melodic "Bilitis" tune, B, which is a perfect example of Lai's style. The boogie disco tune A6/B4 is outstanding.
